The Klay Master system

Each activity is designed to last about an hour, for groups of 10 to 40 students. When you're starting out, it's easier to split larger groups into groups of 10 to 15.

No oven on site? Pieces go home with baking instructions.

  1. 1Introduce the activity and show the group the example model.
  2. 2Each student sets up their placemat.
  3. 3Open the clay. The flap on the back of the FIMO packet pulls back to open it with ease.
  4. 4Soften the clay by breaking it into four pieces, and then warming it in your hands by making each piece into a ball. Younger students may need help.
  5. 5Begin the 12-step activity, following the card together.
  6. 6When students are nearly finished, hand out a little glow-in-the-dark clay for eyes and fine details.
  7. 7Pack each model in its box with baking instructions to bake at home.
